Direct Line Group required build of 25 motor insurance websites (VW Group, PSA brands) and re-platforming /integration of existing sites.
As Product Owner, led end-to-end delivery of £multi-million greenfield programme and deployment of new microservices. Created journey template across multiple brands with design and UX teams; defined roadmap and drove product vision, prioritising work backlog; re-engineered back end and created APIs for new microservices; futureproofed code; and generated innovative technical solutions to move complex offline processes online. Succeeded in delivering 25 sites and microservices to deadline.
The Sun sought to monetise its £multi-million acquisition of Premier League rights.
As Product Manager, I delivered a paywall to monetise content and personalise offerings to build reader loyalty. Developed roadmap and solutions for adapting CMS for rapid delivery of goal clips and match highlights to mobile devices/desktops; implemented workflows to charge for website access; led design and development of user experience; embedded smooth sign-up processes; implemented staff CMS training; installed analytics; and made iterative improvements. Succeeded in launching to deadline, attracting 225k subscribers in 2 years.
